Switzerland “Business Travel 2022”

The regular business trip to Switzerland by the “Orgil Luu” Association of Entrepreneurs was successfully organized between September 8-14, 2022.

A total of 9 BPN program participants, value-added product manufacturers and service providers from Arkhangai, Uvs aimags, and Ulaanbaatar city, participated in this trip.

Entrepreneurs operating in the healthcare, tourism, trade, food, construction materials, and clothing industries visited Swiss factories similar to theirs, met with company executives, and shared their experiences and successes.

Every company that hosted us and shared their experiences had one thing in common: they had a policy for developing their employees, an internal health system, and they trained young people interested in working for the company for 4 years with pay. This policy is the basis for the company's employees to work stably, healthily, and enthusiastically in the long term. The issue of sustainable human resources was the most important and interesting topic for our tour participants, and we exchanged views on this with Swiss business leaders.

During the trip, they got acquainted with the operations of the 90-year-old sugar producer F. Hunzinger + Co AG, and learned about the trends in the global sugar market. They also studied the progress of sugar production in Mongolia, the introduction of new technologies, and the possibilities for cooperation.

In addition, they visited 4B AG, a leading company in the production of wooden doors, windows, and facades, Globetrotter Business Travel/Groups, the third largest tourism company in Switzerland, GLOBUS Zürich, a high-end shopping center based in Zurich, and Dr. mrd. Stefan's ENT clinic to learn about their operations and share the secrets of their success.

The words of the founder and CEO of Globetrotter Business Travel/Groups during the meeting, “Give your employees the opportunity to succeed, and hire employees who can turn their hobbies into jobs,” made us think of one thing and motivated us to do the other.

We also visited Victorinox AG, a global brand of knife manufacturer, which is used as an example in BPN training courses. Quality, usability, and innovation are the values ​​of the global brand Victorinox. We were very impressed and proud to see that they value environmentally friendly production and recycle their waste and use it in their factories and for households in their villages.

At the end of the trip, Ambassador D. Gerelmaa of Mongolia to the Swiss Confederation hosted a meeting with the entrepreneurs participating in our program in Bern. During the meeting, Mongolian manufacturers producing value-added products exchanged views on the challenges they face in exporting their products to the European Union and the techniques and technologies they need to meet the quality requirements.

So we returned from our business trip to Switzerland with a bag full of loot.
